How do you write about yourself, your business, your organisation or passion project?

 

Unless you’re a trained writer, it’s an area where many people struggle. It can feel uncomfortable or show-offy to boast about your achievements, or hard to know where to start when it comes to outlining your history or your backstory. What will draw your audience in? What will leave them cold?

 

Sure, these days you could just use AI. But where’s the fun in that? You’ll likely end up with copy that looks – quite rightly – like it’s been drafted by a machine. And AI may only write what you tell it to write, which might not be helpful if you don’t quite know what to say.
